2012 Used Coachmen FREEDOM EXPRESS 281RLDS Travel Trailer in Alabama, AL. This travel trailer is half-ton towable (dry weight 5704, max weight fully loaded 7500) and has a spread-axle design, making it easier to tow compared to most. I also have a weight distributing hitch that I will include with the trailer which is probably a $200 value. My wife, two kids and I have stayed in this trailer comfortably - the couch and kitchen table both become platforms for air mattesses. There is room at the end of the trailer for two chairs, but I simply use the space for extra room/storage. The AC is cold enough to keep you comfortable during an Alabama summer! There is also an outside grill that is easily accessible, and two entrances which make getting in and out easier. The mattress was recently upgraded to a queen memory foam and all the lights have been upgraded to LED. Along with the typical pass-through storage there is a truck box that has been welded to the rear bumper - perfect for hoses, etc. The only thing that does not work is the awning motor needs to be replaced. This is simply a great trailer for a family who is wanting to relax and get away from it all!
