Description

1965 Used GMC 4106 Class A in Nevada, NV. This 1965 GM converted motorhome has the look of a low profile greyhound bus, but was a Montana State team bus in its former life. It was converted into a motorhome in the mid 80's by a master mechanic and was impeccably maintained until sold to us last year. We completely refurbished the interior, which turned it into a vintage classic featuring remodeled kitchen with bright tiled countertops, oversized stainless steel sink, and designer faucet. Installed additional tiled countertop, as well as fold-down counters, to double usable kitchen/dining space. The shower was remodeled with designer quality tile that is quite unique. The living room features all new furniture with matching end tables to increase livability. The finishing touches to this refurbished interior is the beautiful wood ceiling and high impact flooring, which enhances the overall ambiance. This vintage RV has low miles on a huge Detroit Diesel 8V71 supercharged engine that really performs. This beauty is turn-key and ready to go anywhere, anytime. This Motorhome has it all including high dollar "King Controls" cruise control, jake brake, Allison automatic transmission, air ride suspension and power steering. It handles like a dream! It easily cruises at 65+mph with plenty of towing power and excellent braking contol on steep slopes. A MiniMax Type 30 emergency brake system was professionally installed recently by RPI of Pahrump NV. Several recent upgrades/maintenance were performed by RPI including new water pump for generator, rubber molding on all bay doors, 6 new deep cell RV batteries, oil/fluids changed, and air compressor tanks bled. Other features of this one-of-a-kind RV include:* Starter rebuild and transmission reseal*Top of line Kubota 3 cylinder, 1400 watt diesel generator*Flex Steel captains chairs recently recovered with black doeskin* Peninsula windows with recently added matching bamboo binds throughout coach*Custom oak cabinets matching blinds throughout coach*Oversized awning provides tons of covered space increasing functionality of coach*Two rooftop AC units*Wall furnace located mid-coach*Catalytic heaters located in living room and bedroom*30 and 50 amp hookups*High capacity propane tank (50 gal)*Alcoa polished aluminium wheels with Goodyear 285 75R 24.5 tires, 4 years old with only 11,000 miles*Driving range = 850 miles on two diesel fuel tanks*Chassis rebuild performed at 50,000 miles* Tons of storage space inside and outside with full pass through storage bays*Economical to license and in insureThis uniquely equipped coach is quite adaptable to all types of RVing and is well suited for all-season dry camping in almost any climate. It has been used as an RV since the 80's and was never used as a Greyhound people hauler, so there are low miles on this Detroit Diesel engine.
