1968 Used Airstream SAFARI SPORT Travel Trailer in Colorado, CO. This Stunning Vintage Airstream Safari Land Yacht has been wonderfully restored and polished. This little beauty draws a crowd everywhere she goes, gets thumbs-up driving down the road, If you don't like attention, this is NOT the trailer for you.Â
She’s used frequently, so the skin does have a few minor dents and blemishes from normal use.  The Restoration, plumbing,wiring,polishing, etc was done by the highly reputable, M.E.L Trailers Orange, CA. LP gas and electrical systems have been updated and function perfectly (2X30 lb. LP tanks), as does the plumbing. Highlights include: COLD Coleman Mach Series AC, Dyna-Trail ducted (forced air) heat; Dual electrical system (12-V DC and 120-V AC) with Inteli-Power 9100 converter; properly functioning vents, fans, windows, etc. Updated interior LED and fluorescent lighting; Shurflo water pump; Jabsco accumulator tank; new water filtration system; Alsons vintage shower head and fixtures; Thetford Aqua Magic IV toilet; new smoke detector; AM/FM/CD/IPOD-USB stereo; Dometic propane/electric fridge/freezer; Magic Chef cook-top and oven.
The towing and running lights have been updated also electric brakes and an A&E power hitch-jack; Goodyear Marathon tires and wheels with baby moon caps.
Original Airstream Central Control system is still in place and functions properly. She comes with the original books and owner's manuals, and even the original Airstream "Lifetime Warranty" certificate with stamp and signature. Aluminum under-belly is in great shape. The total length of the trailer is 22'.
All systems were checked and operational. A LOT of time and money has been spent on this jewel and she has been loved and well cared-for throughout her life, she needs someone who has the time to take her out and enjoy her. This is a very special trailer and deserves a great new home. All upgrades have been very tastefully considered. If you enjoy sunlight, windows, and a feeling of spaciousness- this is the coach for you. The bathroom is NOT a tiny “wet bathâ€, it has the original functioning lighted make-up mirror, sink, cabinet, and nice shower. The drop-down dinette table can seat 6 people. All couches are  newly upholstered in lovely white perorated faux leather that easily wipes clean. The couches in front can function as 2 single beds, or convert to create a double bed. Side gaucho couch can sleep one single, but also opens into a double bed.  With both bed conversions, 4 adults can sleep comfortably. Hang your clothes in the full length closet, this coach has amazing amount of storage! Bright yellow accents, original turquoise Formica, great condition.
