1972 Used Silver Streak SUPREME LUXURY LINER 3200 Travel Trailer in Louisiana, LA. Silver Streak campers were made from 1949-1985. The company was started by two men from the McDonald Douglas airplane company who wanted to make a camper superior to the Airstream. The trailers have stronger frames and axles than the Airstream and an anodized aluminum skin, versus the polished and clear coated skin on the Airstream. - The camper has a front living, mid-kitchen layout, with twin beds and a full bath in the rear. - There is tons of storage! There are cabinets above the sofa, two pantry closets in the kitchen, storage above and below the twin beds, two closets in the bath, and a trunk in back for hoses, extension cords, etc.- New mattresses, new sofa bed in front, and new curtains were installed in 2014. The new bedding will be included with the trailer.- The interior has been repainted with exterior grade paint- The residential size refrigerator was replaced earlier this year- The tires were replaced with new 10-ply tires in 2015.- All running lights were replaced with new and new LED taillights were installed in 2015.- All interior 12V lights were replaced with new LED lights.- A/C works great- The original stovetop and oven are in good working order- All of the windows have been tinted to help keep it cooler in the summer.- Included in the sale are the Reese weight distribution hitch with sway control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and the rolling 22 gallon waste tank. While the camper is in very good shape for it's 44 year life, there are a couple small issues. - The front passenger side curved window has a small leak which can be fixed by re-caulking the window frame. We have stored the camper inside and do mostly fair-weather camping so it hasn't been an issue to us. There is minor water damage to the interior paneling, but no damage evident on the floor.- There is one patch in the skin on the rear corner, about 18"x18"- The camper was made before gray water tanks were common, so it has a black tank for the toilet but no gray water tank. We use a rolling 22 gallon external tank for gray water collection.
