1973 Used GMC 26' Class A in Idaho, ID. Rare find in this Classic 1973 GMC 26' Class A Motorhome with modern GM 454 cubic inch fuel injected Vortec motor and heavy duty transmission with oil cooler (new 2006 factory GMC crate engine 0 miles installed 4/12/2006 by Dyno Sources Inc. Seattle WA at cost of $16,782.00). At that time also received heavy duty M/H torque converter, Bilstein shocks, air ride suspension, newer tires, Alcoa custom aluminum 16" rims, and more! Regularly maintained with oil changed every 3000 miles since we first owned it in 2003. Many more updates and extras including granite kitchen counter, gleaming maple hardwood floor throughout, stainless appliances, re-upholstered drivers seats, chairs and sleeping upholstery, extra custom gauges, central vacuum and more. Nice spacious floor plan with lots of storage inside and out. Sleeps 4 people. Full bathroom with shower and private commode. Cool A/C with 5KW Onan generator to run the show when you don't have a campground plug in. Roof storage rack, rear bike rack and a trailer hitch too. Gets much better mileage than the original 454 Oldsmobile engine and has almost twice the power/torque. Cruises up the hills and sails on the flat land. Odometer reading approximately 123k now and new 454 Vortek engine installed at 101k has about 22,000 total miles since new. Nice rig in ready to use condition. Exterior paint could use a little attention and touch up but looks pretty good just the way it is. Downsizing sellers due to age or this one would not be for sale. :( Happy for whoever gets this nice rig!
