1979 Used Winnebago CHIEFTAIN Class C in Michigan, MI. New engine, new tires, new calipers, new water heater, new engine components, new circuit box, new fridge, new exhaust etc! We bought this beautiful machine two years ago, and completely rennovated the interior, exterior and several components listed thereafter.
As you can see from the pictures we took out one of the pull out couches, and installed a custom desk and dresser. We took out the carpet and installed vintage wood flooring as well. There is, and never have been, any leaks in the roof which is a big bonus. The awning is 100% functional, and is the original it came with. The generator has been maintained and starts with a simple switch on the dash. There is a full stand up shower in the rear, with a new presurized shower head and a convenient switch to engage the water heater. The roof has lots of weather protected storage which can be accessed conveniently from the rear ladder. There is a two person bed with a new matress that drops down above the driver and passenger seats.
After purchasing the following upgrades were made: New engine, alternator, starter, power steering pump, water pump, calipers, tires, exhaust system, propane heater, water heater and internal switch, plumbing and sewage gates, bike rack, circuit box, carbon momnoxide detector and external presurized hose attatchment to name a few. The axle bearings were also replaced.

The interior was custom designed, including trimming, flooring, curtains, and an underseat cat door for a liter-box.
We are selling at a complete loss as we have invested close to $15,000 in this motorhome after purchase in 2016. We would love to find an appropriate home for it as it has so much life after everything we've done.
