Description

1990 Used Cobra AMERICAN 27' REAR TWIN Class C in Illinois, IL. This camper is road ready and is a perfect entry level, inexpensive option for a small family.

The options for Make and Model on RV Trader did not exactly match what this is.  It is a 1990 American by Cobra and is 27.5 feet long.  I believe it is Model: American-Q-28B, however I am not certain of this. It has a center bathroom and shower/tub.

Our children are grown and we don't camp nearly as much as several years ago.

This camper has huge amounts of storage.  Inside and out.

We are leaving a lot of miscellaneous supplies with the camper.  Games, leveling blocks, sewer lines, electric cables, dishes, pots pans, etc.

Tires are about 4 years old and in great shape. Hot water, Roof AC, Refrigerator all work. Refrigerator runs on electric or LP gas (this allows you to run it on LP while driving and switch to electric at the campsite). Has a monitor for LP, wastewater, and freshwater. 5000W generator runs good. Brake-lines replaced in 2012.

It has tow hookups to haul a car, but we have never used this.

This comes with a cover for the whole camper.

The small TV works, but only for VCR. you could hook up a DVD pretty easy.

The awning is 15 feet and in good shape.

What is wrong with this camper-We are very honest and straightforward-The parking brake does not work. The dash air does not work. (If we wanted AC while driving, we just turned on the generator and ran the camper rooftop AC). I am not sure if the dash air or parking brake are easily fixable or not, we have never attempted to fix either one. The last time we took it out, the engine thermostat gauge did not move from cold to hot.  This may simply need a new thermostat, or it could be a fuse, however the engine did not show any signs of overheating or any problem. I am not sure if the cruise control works or not.  The overhead sleeping bunk has leaked in the past. I have riveted and caulked a lot and it may not be leaking now.

Overall this is a camper that is in good shape and very comfortable.
