1994 Used Fleetwood SOUTHWIND 36 Class A in California, CA. Old gal with new life in her. Cummins 5.9 42,190mi, Allison 6sp, 6.5kw gen 363hrs. We purchased the RV a few years back in preparation for a 12mo trip with our 2yr old. We remodelded the interior with painted cabinets, walls and flooring. A custom dash was made along with a custom base under the couch containing two drawers. New captain chairs were installed, drivers is heated. 

Engine is a 5.9cummins with mechanical fuel pump(P7100) paired with an Allison World MD-3060 6sp. It's aprox 300hp now. Boost and Exhaust temp gauges installed. Timing has been set to 16.5, fueling has been adjusted, boost caps at about 30psi, head has been properly retorqued, 4k rpm gov spring kit installed, fuel plate removed, intake and exhaust valve springs upgraded to 110#. Installed PacBrake PRXB exhaust brake. All mods were performed prior to our 11,000 mile trip from central California to Anchorage, AK. There were zero problems pulling hard up the 10% grades and coming down were almost peaceful thanks to the exhaust brake. This is a solid set-up that averaged 10-11mpg pulling our Honda CR-V. 

The chassis is leaf spring front and back. Front leafs were re-arched and a leaf added. Track bars were installed front and rear(huge improvement). New Bilsteins and new Michelin tires. Disc brakes front and rear new discs and pads. Hydraulic levelers have been removed and rebuilt with new seals. 

Electrical items/work: Two new start batteries, 4 6-volt house batteries added, two digital volt meters added-one for each bank, 2kw Xantrex inverter/chager with remote and generator control, HID headlights, LED fog lights, new TV antenna and amp(works great), almost all interior lights upgraded to LED, larger color display for back-up camera, 40in Vizio LED tv installed in main area, 27in LCD tv installed in bedroom, component 6.5 speakers front and rear powered by Rockford Fosgate(RF) amp, 12" cerwin vega sub installed in custom box within dash powered by separate RF amp, source is MP3/Phone. 

Much more but those are the main points. Everything listed above was done in the last 3yrs/11k miles. She's been a great rig and we're sad to see her go but we found ourselves pregnant with baby #2 somewhere in Colorado and had to cut the trip short(7months/11k miles). We've since bought a home and settled down. This RV needs to be driven and cared for, not covered for the next couple years till we head out again.
