Description

1994 Used Safari CONTINENTAL Class A in Arizona, AZ. This 37' diesel pusher was a one owner coach until Oct. 2016. 1994 Safari Continental 37' Prestige Edition. 8.3L Cummins intercooled turbo diesel and an Allison 6 speed transmission in a heavy duty chassis. 189k miles, runs and drives great.
This is a great RV for the money. 6500 Onan generator with low hours (260). Dual rooftop A/C units (both work great, as does the dash A/C). Washer/dryer, dishwasher, upgraded refridgerator, U-Line ice maker, four burner stove and oven, etc. Full awnings in great condition. Upgraded Magnum invertor/charger with solar panels. Hydraulic leveling jacks.
The exterior is aluminum with full body paint. Some clear coat peeling. Light fiberglass damage in the lower right front cap corner (cosmetic).
The interior of this coach is in good condition. Nice leather captain chairs up front with newly upholstered armrests. New sofa/futon with fold-down armrest with cup holders. Lots of interior storage. All Corian surfaces in the kitchen. The table expands with two removable leaves. The kitchen has hardwood flooring and features an upgraded refrigerator, new microwave, four burner stove, oven, and even a dishwasher. There is a big stand-alone U-Line ice maker installed. The bathroom has a shower and bath tub. The large closet has been cedar lined, and there is a washer/dryer combo unit installed. The bedroom has been upgraded with an adjustable Comfortaire mattress with dual independent controls (super comfortable). New flat screen TVs in the bedroom and in the front of the coach. A satellite dish is installed up top. The carpeted headliner is letting go in the living room area and should be re-glued or resecured somehow. There is a water stain in the headliner above the driver's seat (the roof looks good overall but should probably get a little sealant here and there).
The 8.3L Cummins engine runs great. The Allison transmission has been serviced recently with some new parts. The Onan Marquis 6.5K generator starts right up and runs great (256 hours). HD hitch. The tires are about six years old with good tread.
You can get in and drive this coach anywhere just the way it is. This is set up to be full-time if wanted. It could use a little tlc here and there and it has a few issues as should be expected. For example; recently the handle for the washing machine/dryer broke (common on these units, they are available new online for about $89). The generator starts and stops perfectly from the exterior start switch, but the start switch inside isn't working 100% (I have not looked into it yet, could be a simple fix). There is some old glue from velcro on the walls that needs to be cleaned off. And overall signs of age and general wear as you would expect, but considering the year, not too bad.
This is a lot of RV for the money. It is located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. It comes with a clean and clear title and is ready to hit the road as it is.
