1994 Used Safari TREK Class A in North Carolina, NC. 1994 Safari Trek 2400The little Class A that lives large! This well-preserved 24-foot class A is built on a mid-size Isuzu front-engine diesel chassis.  It won’t win any races, but it will just move right along.  I just returned from a 2,000-mile round trip with it, North Carolina to Kansas and back.  It averaged about 12mpg on that trip.  As of this writing, it has about 87,000 miles but I am still driving it so that will change, though I am not planning such a long trip again. The secret to the Trek is that there is no bedroom.  It has oodles of storage – a full size kitchen, with a large refrigerator, even a 4-burner stove and cabinets everywhere.  There is a large wardrobe in the roomy bathroom, a linen closet that could be converted to more hanging storage if you need it, a comfortable couch with seatbelts for 2 and a super comfortable Ekornes Stressless Recliner that replaces the two original tub chairs.  And when you are ready for bed, just push the button and the bed comes down from the ceiling.  In you go for a good night’s rest. The Magic Bed sleeps 2 (full size), and the couch below pulls out to another short bed, almost full size in width but not length.  The dinette seats two, and there are two folding chairs and two table leaves included.  All fabrics are original and in very good condition.  The driver and passenger seats are surprisingly comfortable. Because of the short length, this RV maneuvers easily around parking lots, campgrounds and gas stations.  I easily refuel at regular diesel fuel pumps, as if I were driving a car. Tires and all four batteries (two chassis, two coach) were replaced in 2016.  In 2017, the roof was replaced, including the plywood underlayment. I see no water staining on the ceiling, though there is some sign that windows were left open in the rain at times, on the walls.  A new china toilet was installed.  A new rear-view camera was installed, and a new monitor for it (the monitor supports multiple cameras, if you want to add side cameras later).  A new radio was installed.  I replaced the shower nozzle with a high flow hand-held, which gives AMAZING shower pressure.  I replaced the broken microwave.   Everything in the coach part appears to work except the black and gray water monitors, and a couple of lights, which might be just bulbs.  Everything on the chassis seems to work except the A/C, which may just need to be recharged (it blows air, just not cold) and the dash heat (which might be that switch under the hood – it was explained to me but I can’t move it).  One of the headlights has water in it, and one of the sidelights is missing.  The cruise control does not work.  There is a solar panel, but I don’t think it is hooked up.
