Description

1996 Used Fleetwood SOUTHWIND 30 Class A in California, CA. 1996 fleetwood Southwind. 30 foot class a motorhome. It has a 454 with 46k miles and a 4L80E transmission.

Since its a 96, it has a Ob1 smog system. Meaning you can disconnect the battaries during storage and get it smogged immediately without having to reset with computer with 250 miles.

I have installed a new Tuff Stuff brand hi flow water pump, Hayden severe duty fan clutch, all new belts and hoses, evr valve, throttle sensor. Etc.. this rv has never left me stranded but I've swapped out all the old parts for reliability sake.

I upgraded the cooling system because I climb through tehachapi / Mojave in the summer and I didn't want to risk blowing any hoses or being stranded.

I've been using this thing for the last 4-5 years for dirt biking trips to johnson valley, dove springs.. etc.

No one has ever lived in this thing, The interior, wood floors are newer and this rv has never been smoked in. No gross smells.

I have a solar system on the roof and an inverter & tv inside. During the day, the solar will keep the house batteries charged while watching a movie, running a fan or charging electronics.

I have installed led lights throughout the rv. They use very little power to run.

The Onan generator has very low (353) hours. I normally rely on portable generators, as they are cheap.

The motorhome has 4 corner hydraulic jacks that you control by the drivers seat. There is also an electric step by the front door.

The fresh water tank is 80 gallons.

There are two things wrong with the rv. There is a window in the living room area that has fogged up due to a leaking seal. The glass is double pane and I'm sure a glass person could re seal it.

The other problem is there has been delamination under the dark part of the graphics. It's been like that since I've had it but it never really bothered me.

Other than That, its very poweful and reliable. When climbing big hills, I just keep the tach at 2500-3000 and it will climb anything with cool water temps.

I've kept the rv covered so the roof is in excellent shape. I will include an adco cover with it.
