Description

1997 Used Prevost MARATHON COACH H3-45 Class A in Colorado, CO. 1997 H3-45 with $35k worth of front and rear cap upgrades and paint so it looks like an 03 model. No slides. Halogen head lights have been replaced with bright white Xenon and LEDs. Detroit 11.1 diesel with 130k miles and 2 speed engine brake. Its not a 500 horse power unit but its 350 and it does just fine considering the coach size. Engine hasnt been turned up and still has the 70mph factory speed limiter so the engine is in solid shape. I replaced the turbo last year because the intake impeller was showing some normal wear. Chassis, air, and brakes were confirmed DOT certified last year by Greyline Bus in Colorado Springs. A steering link and one air drum were replaced and the brakes and tires are all good tread with new Yokohamas on the front. They also replaced the output shaft trans seal that had a slow leak. I replaced the pneumatic entry door with a manual handle type entry that you see on the VIP models for dry camping so I didnt have to depend on using up air reserve each time you went in or out. The door still needs paint to match the rest of the coach. The roof has three AC units and four 320 watt solar panels charging six 2 volt Trojan batteries that invert a 24 cubic foot fridge, microwave, and one galley wall outlet I use for coffee. Besides 12 and 24 volt alternators are four battery chargers; the solar charge controller, an AC 12 volt charger, an AC 24 volt charger, and a 12 to 24 volt charger. Generator is a 12.5K diesel. 2 cranking batteries are new sealed batteries installed last year. Has a central vac with hose and wand. Water heater is a compact on demand so you never have to wait for hot water. A separate large capacity ice maker. Fuel and fresh/grey water tanks are 240 gallons each. Ive updated the AC and DC inside breaker panels, and done some other small things like replace wall light switches to illuminated (easier to find at night), and replaced the 12 volt ceiling and entry step lights to LED. I removed the front a rear TVs in anticipation of replacing them but havent yet. I have new Webasto furnace and circulation pump replacements waiting to be installed to a thermostat for the forced heat, and the OTR ac doesnt blow cold, so those things need attention, I just havent found the time. From what I understand this is one of Marathons first run of conversions with tan and some gold interior accents. It has its blemishes for a 20 year old coach, which is why Im asking 139k or best offer and not 200-300k. If interested please call instead of text to help me avoid the scammers. TY 727-888-0000
