1998 Used Fleetwood PACE ARROW 36B Class A in Texas, TX. 1998 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision 36B
My wife and I bought this motorhome about 3 years ago and we traveled all over the US full-time for about 2 years. We recently bought a brick & stick home with a baby on the way, so our RV is now for sale. It never gave us any issues on the road during the 20k miles we logged. We purchased it from a consignment dealer in Texas. I have a clear Texas title in-hand.
454 Chevy gas V8 with automatic transmission and tag axle
30-amp electrical system with 50ft power cord
Onan 5kw generator
Push-button electric-hydraulic leveling
Flexsteel driver and passenger chair (super comfortable!)
2 slide-outs
2 roof-top ducted AC units
2 gas heat furnaces
Driver's door with power window
Side-by-side refrigerator with built-in icemaker
3-burner gas stove with oven
Microwave with venthood
Patio awning
Awnings over every window
Michelin tires (19.5), with tire covers for when parked
Aftermarket GPS head unit
7-foot pull-out sofa/futon (came from an Alfa RV)
Concrete & Steel dining table with 2 chairs and 1 bench.
We pulled out much of the carpet and replaced it with vinyl planks, also repainting the cabinetry white (extra vinyl planks are included). Replaced a few light fixtures with LED fixtures. Installed 50w solar panels on roof, which has been cleaned and coated. One of the AC units has a new shroud/cover, and the other has a new motor. The water heater was replaced about 2 years ago with a new 6-gallon DSI unit (both gas & electric heating). Drinking tap has a new filter with a spare. Toilet seal was replaced last year. Brake fluid & transmission fluid were changed at 50k miles.
The Chevrolet P30 chassis used an external park brake rather than a pawl inside the transmission. It's basically a drumbrake mounted on the tailshaft of the transmission. These were notorious for failing. The previous owner bypassed it with a manual lever park brake. I replaced the brake shoes last year and it comes with a spare set.
There is a crack in the driver's side of the windscreen, though it does not impair vision.
The shower basin could stand to be replaced, as well as the retractable shower door/screen; they function but show obvious wear and age.
The RV starts right up. AC blows cold. Brakes work great. Brake controller installed for towing. Camera on back with monitor in driving station. Radio in driving station, one in bedroom, and one at outside patio.
The RV also comes with a case of manuals, diagrams, and guides specific to this motorhome.
