Description

1999 Used Shasta FLYTE Travel Trailer in Washington, WA. Cleaned and ready to go. Add your full/double sized mattress and it's complete.

Everything is in good shape with the expected signs of wear since it is 18 years old. All systems work (LP heat, LP water heater, LP stove, AC and DC electrical, toilet, sinks, shower, refrigerator, air conditioning.)

Sleep 4 total. Two in the full/double bed and two more when you take the dining room table apart and rearrange the pads. There is a curtain to separate the bed from the rest of the camper.

The built-in AM/FM/cassette (yes, cassette!) stereo pipes out to four speakers. A built-in awning also works well and has some pinholes holes near the top. We have no idea whether they let water through in the rain, but when we rolled it out and washed it down, it did not leak.

The left-side front window did leak a little during a heavy wind and rain storm last year. Since someone was staying in it at the time, it was discovered right away and we temporarily sealed it with tape. Since then, we have reseated and cleaned the glazing and re-sealed the outer edges.

There are four manual jacks, one at each corner.

The two 12 volt batteries run everything that doesn't require AC like interior and exterior lamps, heater fan, hood fan, CO2 detector and water pump. When you plug in to AC power, the batteries charge up automatically.

The two LP tanks (I think they are 30lb./7 gal. size) are included and rest in a dual tank holder with an automatic tank changeover valve assembly because no one wants to go outside in the middle of the night to flip the switch.

Other essentials include a toilet which works perfectly well and looks great if you overlook the crack in the lid. The seat and toilet base are fine, so this is purely cosmetic. I ran the LP heater for an hour or so and there is an occasional fan noise, but it's not ear piercing.

The refrigerator is clean and runs on AC and LP, but not DC. Your spare tire is mounted on the rear bumper and looks like it's never been used. There is a metal, retractable step for getting in the door easier. It's the manual kind, not the electric, so you do have to bend down to slide it out. It holds 200+ lbs easily.

We have only towed it from Puyallup to Steilacoom, so I don't know how it feels on the freeway. It also has stabilizer bars, but I didn't use them since I only found them after we brought it home.

A Valterra SS01 Sewer Solution Kit ( see details on Amazon.com: http://a.co/a3RHBVh ) with 25 feet of hose is included and packed in a plastic storage bin.

Finally, I should mention that the original owners manual and documents for the major systems are also included. It uses 2 5/16" ball (included) and a 6-way round electrical connection or adapter. Did I mention it has a safety brake cable too?

We have the Washington State title in-hand and the vehicle license tabs are current.
