Description

2000 Used Sportsmobile CUSTOM DESIGN Class B in Ohio, OH. 2000 Ford E-250 Econoline XL Extended Sportsmobile
5.4 L V8 Gas, Original Mileage 48,650
Great Class B camper that we have owned for one year. We took a 4800 mile camping trip with the family last summer, and it drove beautifully.
In 2000, it was bought by the original owner and built out by Sportsmobile in California. We bought it from the original owner from California, and brought it to Ohio in 2017 where we have stored it indoors and improved it.
When we bought it, it included:
• Original build sheet from Sportsmobile and all receipts and manuals
• Custom 4” lift from Sportsmobile with airbags on rear axle, 4 x 2 (not four wheel drive)
• Water heater, furnace, refrigerator with freezer, sink, 20 gallon water tank, 20 gallon grey water tank
• 2 burner propane stove with 20 gallon propane tank
• City water hook up, shore power hook up that will charge battery and run appliances
• House battery, its charged from alternator while driving or plugged into shore power
• Upper and lower bunk
• 2 front swivel chairs
• Exterior off road lights
• Yakima rack
• Bushwacker fender flairs
• Blinds for all windows, curtains for front window
We added since purchase in 2017:
• Custom built front and rear bumpers, 10,000 lbs winch
• Custom rear swing arms with Yakima style bars to hold bike racks and Aluminess Boxes
• Aluminess Ladder and Nerf bars (steps) and boxes; one cabinet style and one that folds down to act as table
• 1 ½” rear wheel spacers, brand new 20” Ion Alloy Wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country Tires (285/55R20)
• Magnetic bug screens for front windows; velcro bug screen for rear door
• Custom made bed extension for upper bunk, created sleeping platform for pent house sleeping area (both of ours kids slept up there – 11 year old and 13 year old)
• Kenwood stereo, sounds great and plays off of house battery
• ARB awning with “Add A Room” tent
• Thule Snowboard rack, and 2 Bike racks
• New headlights and smoked out turn signal lights
We are bummed to let this go, we have completed everything to get it ready for another long trip. We had planned to install a 4 wheel drive kit from UJoint Offroad from North Carolina. They sell a DIY kit or you can bring it to them to install anything imaginable when it comes to 4 wheel drive vans.
