Description

2001 Used Chinook DESTINY 2400 Class C in Florida, FL.
This top of the line coach was made in Yakima Washington. Chinook was called “the sports car of motorhomes” for it’s maneuverability and fine craftsmanship.
The pictures speak for themselves.  Appliances include 3 burner stove top w/ Corian cover, built in microwave, two door 3 way full size Dometic refrigerator, Dometic AC/heat pump thermostat controlled roof air system, gas furnace, gas or elec. hot water, double corian sinks with covers and Moen faucet, two Fantastic fan skylights w/rain guard covers, bath exhaust fan skylight. TV-DVD-stereo, solar battery charging system w/monitor, outside shower, and heated tanks. Corian counters and craftsman cabinetry with lighted interiors, mood lighting, comfortable lounge seating, Day and Night shades, bar cabinet w/self store table top, pantry, large closet, auto recline double sized sofa/bed, large total fiberglass wet bath make this compact motorhome a luxury living camper. The cockpit multi-adjustable Flexsteel seats are known for their driving comfort.  The Chevy 350 gasoline engine gets 14 mpg highway, not bad for a 24’ motorhome. There are two basement storage compartments, roof access ladder, class one towing hitch for up to 5,000 lbs.& 500 lbs tongue weight, like new A&E Horizon awning, 4000W Onan genset w/480 hrs. Excellent tires with 6,000 miles on them. No leaks, but there are a few fiberglass cracks in insignificant areas, along with a “curb rash” area just aft of the passenger door... all repairable; but over all it is in excellent condition. This Chinook is all original with 87,500 miles, and still as amazing today as it was in 2001.
