2001 Used Gtrv WESTIE Class B in Arizona, AZ. After many years of wonderful camping trips in our 2001 GTRV we have decided it is time to sell the van and upgrade. Our "Westy" was built on a 2000 Ford E150 van by the famous Roy at GTRV in Vancouver, B.C. Roy was renowned for the craftsmanship and care he put into building the conversions. The van sleeps four, two on the lower bunk and two on the upper bunk. The van fits in a standard 7 foot garage!
The Ford 2000 van is white, equipped with 5.4 Liter V8 gas engine and has seen 133,000 miles. The van has been always been garaged when not on an adventure. No pets, no smoking, no accidents! Besides regular maintenance the following maintenance has been recently performed: Replaced thermostat and flushed cooling system; Replaced rear brake shoes and drums, master cylinder, brake fluid, front brake pads and rotors; Replaced rear axle seals and bearings; Replaced spark plugs and boots; Replaced four Michelin LTX MS2 tires (9/32 of tread remaining); Changed AT fluid and filter; Replaced van battery (1/31/13).
The RV conversion part of the van has the "standard" floor plan with pop-top roof, sink, electric water pump, LED coach lights, 2-burner Suburban gas stove, NovaKool R2600 refrigerator, microwave, 10-gallon fresh water tank, 6 gallon gray water tank, Suburban 16,000 BTU gas furnace, two deep cycle Trojan 105 batteries, 62 watts of solar panels, WeatherTech floor mats, out-side spray hose and a roof-top luggage rack with cross bars. The original AC air conditioner and running boards have been removed. The canvas in the pop-top is in good condition with a few repairs to the window screens. The following maintenance has been recently performed: Replaced Suburban furnace with a 16,000 BTU unit; Replaced propane regulator; Replaced RV batteries with two Trojan T105s (10/24/14).
