Description

2003 Used Damon INTRUDER 373 Class A in Alabama, AL. Due to some unfortunate physical imparements, we can no longer enjoy the use of our Class A motorhome.  It is in very good condition for it's age, no body damage except for a few minor scratches.  No water leaks, ever.  It has always been kept in a covered storage facility when not in use.  Every system works as it should.

The Workhorse W22 Chassis had two recalls, and both have been completed.  The BOSCH brake calipers and the dual Catalytic Converters were replaced. I had them replace the hydralic brake hoses and the fuel filter at the same time.

There was an exhaust leak from a cracked cast iron manifold (common problem on heavy duty "truck type" engines). The only permanent solution is replacing the cast iron headers with a Banks Torque Tube Stainless Steel exhaust header system installed.  This was an $1800 expense....as a side benefit, they increase engine torque by about 60 ftlbs.

I also added a pair of AirLift bags to the front leaf springs (the rear axle already had them factory installed).
For additional margin of safety, the front shocks were replaced with KONI shocks and I added the "Safe T Plus" steering control stabilizer to the steer control rod.

The engine AC compressor and the receiver/dryer were replaced with NEW, not rebuilt units.  The front rooftop AC was replaced with Coleman Mach 15.

Also replaced were the captains chairs and the front TV, and the AM/FM CD unit.

Engine runs quiet and smooth, new spark plugs and wires.  Mobil 1 5W30 always used, the transmission had a fluid change and new filter by the local Allison dealer about 18 months ago.

The steer tires were new about 2 years ago, (2200 miles ago).
