2004 Used Hi-Lo TOWLITE 2709T Travel Trailer in California, CA. 2004 HiLo 27’ Tow Lite (Model 2707T). Sleeps four with a queen bed and fold down sofa. Dry weight is 4379 lbs, so it tows easily with an SUV or 1/2 ton pickup.  I used a Toyota Sequoia and a Dodge RAM 2500 to tow it easily.  Towing in the lowered position the trailer is almost the exact height of the SUV and Truck, minimizing wind resistance and saving a ton on gas!  You do not need a stabilizing hitch, just a 2-5/16" ball, 7-pin electrical connector, and electric brake controller. Has always been stored with a cover, so there is no UV damage.Â
Upgrades I have added total about $2,400, including power tongue jack, 15,000 BTU air conditioner (original was 13.5K BTU) with improved ducting, two Fantastic Fans (automatic rain sensing), trailer cover, wheel covers. Â I have also added a small microwave oven and replaced the single battery with two deep cycle AGM batteries (new last fall), and a brand new awning (only used once!). Brakes and drums are brand new with less than 500 miles on them. Windows have had new weather stripping, and rubber membrane on top is in excellent condition.Â
I am selling this unit ready to camp, which includes sheets and blankets, towels, a set of kitchenware, fresh water hose, waste water hose and connector, and electrical plug adapters. All you need to add are pillows and kitchen knives. Tires have less than 2000 miles on them, plus a brand new spare, lug wrench and a hydraulic jack.Â
This trailer shows normal wear for ten years of light use but is overall in very good condition. Â
