2005 Used Monaco KNIGHT 40 Class A in Washington, WA. Premium motorhome, king bed, 87,000 miles, 4 slides welded frame, oak cabinets. This coach is built well with premium equipment, wire harness and plumbing. I’m an engineer and 1st owner was a diesel mechanic trainer for one of the large engine companies, everything works. All the normal 12-year motor home components that often need replacing I’ve already had done. I was after a toy, not a project while travelling. Mileage is higher than some but our service company “Motor Truck” says the Cummins big block 330 and Alison transmission are often used on commercial rigs and city buses. They feel 300K to 450K is they typical major service points. In our 3 years with this coach the engine and trans have been solid, did a few minor engine items but basically very little.
