Description

2006 Used Alfa GOLD 40FD Class A in Oklahoma, OK. 2006 Alfa Gold 400 hp Cummins with Allison transmission on a Freightliner chassis. 58,000 miles. New tires on 8/2/17 at 55,720 miles. I just had everything on the chassis and Generac generator (1330 hours) serviced (new oil & filters, fuel filters, air filters, all fluids checked) along with new wiper blades and chassis batteries on 8/2/17 and can provide you a copy of the receipt. The (6) 6-volt coach batteries are one year old and are working fine. I just drove it back from Spokane, WA and it is a great driving rig that gets better fuel economy than most units I've driven. Generator is working, basement A/C is working, water system is working, water heater is working, kitchen appliances are working, slide-outs are working, & leveling jacks are working. I have not tested everything on this unit yet (including the plethora of electronics, the hydrohot & the washer/dryer) and will add more information as I have time to go thru it... of course the price goes up as I get more items tested and repairs completed. The interior cabinets, appliances, and furnishings are all in really good shape. I re-coated the roof seams on 8/4/17 and the roof looks good (the awning wind sensor on the roof is missing). This will be a really nice unit with a little TLC (it will need the carpet in the front replaced, dash a/c not cool - typical on big rigs, and the ceiling fabric cleaned), but it is a steal at this price and it really has a LOT of potential! The exterior has been repainted and looks great from 20' away... there is some delam on the left side and close inspection reveals some of the pitting that is typical on these alfas on the left side as well. The right side looks really good. The passenger side windshield has a small (dime size) chip in it way up high that I did not even notice until I had been driving it over 1,000 miles... I drove this unit over 2,000 miles here from Spokane, WA. If you're looking to get into an expensive diesel pusher big rig but don't want to spend the big $$ this one might be the one you have been looking for.
