2006 Used Marathon OTHER Fifth Wheel in Michigan, MI. 2006 Marathon Homes 42 foot 2 Bedroom.  Custom built in Elkhart with nice features for a family on the road. Four slides. Rear bedroom has a very tall slide out for two fixed bunks and a trundle underneath, sleeping 3 kids total. A dorm fridge was added for extra drink capacity. Also a second AC unit was added for this room. Opposing slides in the rear room allow for a big space. Opposite wall filled with built in cabinets for a nice home office set up. Replacing the bunks with a leather couch would make a really nice office set up on the road. Kitchen has corian counters, slate floor, dishwasher, residential fridge, convection micro. Fifth wheel area has queen size bed, washer/dryer, garden shower. After the factory build we added a Motosat system for auto satellite direcTV and internet. Also replaced the black holding tank with an enormous 75 gal tank - you can go more than a week with a family of five! Added a Reese hitch to the back of the trailer for use pulling a golf cart trailer. Trailer is very heavy because of the custom build cabinets, corian, and slate flooring. Maxes out close to 20,000 pounds. Pulled the trailer for 10 years with a GMC Sierra Dually with absolutely no issues. Pulls great. Truck is worth 15K and can be purchased separately if interested.
