Description

2006 Used Sportsmobile E350 Class B in Virginia, VA.

  • For sale: 2006 Sportsmobile RB-50 Pop-top set on the famous E-350 Ford Econoline chassis. It is equipped with the 5.4L V8 engine. This rig is also equipped with the Sportsmobile 4X4system that includes an amazing 2spd Atlas transfer case. It has 71,235 Original Miles. The new owner of this tank will no longer be limited to camp grounds or main roads. This rig was designed to make new trails, and to climb its driver away from the crowd. Looking at this RV in person will make evident to any inspector that it certainly has not been used for it's engineered purpose. The chassis is extremely solid. Both the exterior, and interior, are in excellent shape to say the least. Anyone familiar with Sportsmobile is aware of their quality, scarcity, and level of demand. Additionally, a unit designed and equipped to this magnitude, displays recognizable worth. If this rig peaks your interest, do not hesitate to give us a call. Thanks for looking.
  • Coach Options: Sink - Fridge - Fresh Water Tank (for on-the-go water) - Porta-Potty - City Water Hookup - 110v Shore Power - Pop-Top W/Bunk - Sofa/Sleeper - Auxillary Battery (s)- Fire Extinguisher - Rear Cup Holders - Reading Lights - Lots of Storage Cabinetry - Aluminess Bumpers (Front and Back) -

The Ford Van Features: Power Locks - Power Windows - Cruise Control - Pioneer Radio - AC/Heat - Tilt Wheel
  • Interestingly, Sportsmobile’s proprietary 4WD system used in the Ford motorhomes is considered so well-built that a number of law enforcement and government agencies needing a van-based 4WD unit are regular customers.
  • Penthouse Pop-Top: This is a key Sportsmobile feature, allowing us to stand up inside the van and adds a second "upstairs" bed that provides a panoramic view and lovely cross-breezes. We always sleep upstairs  except for the few times when we're "stealth" camping in cities, etc. The pop-top has five windows, each with curtains and screens behind unzippable flexible clear plastic. The screen on the front window is also unzippable (useful for taking photos from inside the van). The screens provide nice airflow, and stop most insects.
  • Rear A/C: Sportsmobile sells a "Starcool" system that provides plug-in or generator-powered electric air conditioning through rear vents. Sportsmobile's "rear A/C" option includes the Starcool's rear vents, but no electric-powered compressor. This system can therefore only be used while the engine is running.
  • Sportsmobile 4x4: The Sportsmobile 4x4 conversion has worked very well for us. We get a lot of use out of the 4x4, for trails, snow, and camping sandy beaches. It's a beefy system, with a significantly tighter turning circle than other 4x4 van conversions out there. (This is very handy for tight mountain trail switchbacks.)
