Description

2007 Used Coachmen CAPTIVA 270RS Travel Trailer in Georgia, GA. The Tin Temple is what I call her.  Purchased used last year in January 2016.  Together we traveled from Atlanta to the Florida Keys stopping at Okeechobee Fest, and then continuing along the southern US.  Hill country of Texas (is not to be missed), hot springs in New Mexico (I went back a second time), yoga festival in Joshua Tree (Om Shakti Om), and Lightening in a Bottle (game changer) festival in California. Just to name a few of the amazing stops along the way.  Spent the entire summer in the Sierras.  Lake Tahoe is like a big blue pill of tranquility.  Oregon Coast was spectacular, and the Umpqua River and Rogue River Valley won my heart.

Me, The Tin Temple, and Black Widow (my 2012 Chevy Silverado).  Most amazing journey of my life. And, I am feeling called to move on to the next adventure.  Its time to pass her (them both) on to the next care taker!

I made some modifications to suit me and my journey.  This was a full-time living trailer for me.
-I removed the bunks from the rear slide and built out a little closet/storage area.
-I replaced the plastic faucet with a metal one and put in a sprayer.
-I took out the dinnette, repaired the rotted out slide and built a storage (holds 6 28qt, 6 inch bins) and daybed area.
-I also removed the bed and maitress and built out a bit more storage underneath for my massage table and to use my own queen size foam mattress.
-I flipped and painted the refridgerator panels with chalkboard paint.
-I took out the toilet (sealed it off) and put in a Nature's Head Composting Toilet.  (best decision and investment EVER).

Since in my care she has two new axles, new tires, a new slide and a new (10 year warranty) roof.
