Description

2007 Used Fleetwood BOUNDER 33R Class A in California, CA. 2007 Fleetwood Bounder 33R, with 11,250 miles (Original Owner).

I am selling my 2007 Fleetwood Bounder Class A motorhome.  In my humble opinion, this "Fleetwood Bounder" offers one of the best layouts for camping.  As with most traditional sliders, the sofa and dining room slide out, but what makes this 33R better than all the other layouts is the sliding rear "bedroom and closet." When parked with your slides out, you usually step out of the bathroom into a narrow hallway.  With this particular design, you step into a large "changing area" separated from the living room and rear bedroom by two separate privacy dividers.  This is very convenient when someone is still sleeping in the front or rear compartment.  Let’s all agree the bathrooms weren't design as changing rooms and after a hot shower you want to step into a larger space for changing.  From the first day we had it, everyone commented that our coach had a larger changing area then everyone else.  Another design my wife and I liked about this particular design is the fact that one of the bedroom windows is located directly over the head of the bed and not to the side.  This was important to us because when we were camping with our friends we could sit up in the bed and look directly out the window towards the campsite and not just down each side of the motorhome via two small side windows. Located on each side of the Queen Size bed are nightstands with drawers for storage and a large closet at the foot of the bed. Another important thing to keep in mind is the refrigerator.
This particular style has a double wide with an ice maker (an up graded opinion).  Today, motorhomes are running electric refrigerators and not propane.  In my opinion, I like the opinion of running propane over electric. The propane fridge weights less than the electric and propane is less expensive. Also, this model has dark wood as opposed to the common blonde wood. The front sofa is a pull out sofa-sleeper that can hold two adults, not one of those skinny little scissor (or jack-knife) twin bed.  The dining area is also a sleep area (for a small adult or a couple of small kids).
The frame is a Ford (my personal preference over a Chevy) with a 6.8L (V10).  The fresh water tank is nearly 90 gallons. Again, very important if your dry camping (FYI, this particular design, Bounder, was created by the owner of Fleetwood, because he like to ride motorcycles in the desert and he wanted a rugged design, with lots of clearance, and plenty of fresh water).
Recent service: less than 6 months ago, I had 6 new 22.5 Michelin tires installed and Alcoa rims.  Two weeks ago, I installed 2 new 6 volt batteries (of course two deep 6 volts charge faster and drain slower than two 12 volts).  I change the oil every year and run only Mobil 1 synthetic (again, my personal choice).
