2007 Used Lance 981 Truck Camper in Virginia, VA. This truck camper is 9'6" and fits on any 3/4 or 1 ton longbed pickup. It is in very good condition and has been well cared for.
Air conditioning works well and new filters have been installed. It has a electronic wall thermostat which also controls the LP furnace. Refrigerator is a 3 way powered with choice of 12V, LP or 110V. It has electronic lighting so you do not have to light the pilot. Hot water heater is also electronic lighting for LP mode or has 110V element if you have it available.
Microwave over a 3 element stove top with oven that both work well. There is a power vent in roof with a three speed fan that will move air in or out. It is also thermostat controlled if needed.
Over the overhead bed that sleeps two adults, is a large sunroof that can open fully. It has a retractable screen and a darkening shade as well.
The dinette table will fold down and two more people can sleep there. There is a fold down overhead bed over the table that realistically only a small child could sleep in, I would say someone less than 5' tall. There is storage under the dinette seats as well as every other available space. There is no dead space in this camper.
Water supply is either from a water connection at the campground or from the onboard water tank via the water pump. It can be winterized in about 5 min. by flipping two levers and draining the hot water heater.Easy. Camper has a grey water and a black water tank. It has a wet bath.
It has an AM/FM/CD/DVD that inputs to the 17" flat screen that can be viewed from the bed or swings around for viewing by those seated at the table. There are two sets of speakers that can be used, or isolated if someone is sleeping in the overhead . There is a track istalled on the right side that will accept a simple awning if desired. Thereis a rear retractale awning that covers the entryway. There is a rear view camera that is invaluable when backing. Camper has electric lift jacks that are controled by remote. Front jacks have pivots for trucks with duallies . The left side has a slide that is 8' long that creates a ton of room inside.There is a 2.5 KW Onan generator that runs off of LP. The unit comes equiped with dual LP tanks for long duration dry camping trips. The camper is totally self-contained. Also included is a winter cover and Happijac bed mounts with tiedowns. This is a top of the line Lance camper that needs nothing. Every thing that Lance builds is done right and it is the only truck camper I would choose. That is the main reason we are selling. We had another Lance without a slide which is like a whole different camper. The one without the slide, two people could not pass in the living area. This one with the slide, we had three people in the kitchen area with no problem.
