2008 Used Crossroads CRUISER 29RK Fifth Wheel in California, CA. The Crossroads Cruiser is the 29’ model and a great length for an RV. Very roomy - but under the 30' maximum length allowed in many state parks. With the 5th wheel design, it is easy to maneuver in tight mountain turns. *The double slide outs with rear kitchen layout - great separation between the bedroom & cooking *Large twin propone tanks *3-burner range with a larger oven *Oak-paneled 6 cubic ft Refrigerator *Oak dining table with 4 chairs * 2 Swivel adjustable lounge chairs *Sleeper sofa (with unused mattress) *Bedroom with queen-sized mattress *4 drawer bedroom chest...The larger oven allows for the roasting a small turkey. Try doing that in most RV ovens! The oak dining table is moveable along with four chairs placed in the corner of two windows. Along with the sleeper sofa and queen-size bedroom, it will comfortably sleep 4. The RV comes with large twin propane tanks that can last the whole summer without filling. The Cruiser has a large capacity for fresh water (56 gallons) and maintains two 40-gal grey water tanks (one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom) along with the standard 40-gal black water tank. This provides the convenience of only having to dump one-side if you don’t use the kitchen water.The interior color scheme is a warm beige and taupe with all curtains, shades, sofa, and lounge chairs in perfect shape. The oak trim is real hardwood and looks good as new. One of the best features is the rear U-shaped kitchen. It has the lots cabinet space for storing dishes, cookware, and food. There’s a perfect amount of counter space to prepare meals & drinks -- even with a full disk rack. It’s enjoyable having two corner windows around the sink while spending time in the kitchen as they provide great air flow – especially when cooking.The bedroom has an oak 4-drawer chest with large wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors gives the feel of a larger bedroon. You can walk around the queen-size bed! The mattress was purchased in 2015 -- to be more comfortable than the standard -- and with our use of a memory foam topper, we never actually “touched” the mattress. So no need for cleanliness concerns of a used mattress.With both slide-outs on the same side, so you are able to park the vehicle in slots that are reserved for smaller RV’s. This can be very convenient when trying to find a spot on a busy weekend.This RV is built solid and well-insulated which proved a serious benefit in the heat of summer and in the cold, wet nights. Compared to our friends’ larger units, we found we didn’t have to run the air conditioner to cool off. The Cruiser uses a 30-amp hookup and is very energy efficient.
