2008 Used Fleetwood JAMBOREE 23RB Class C in Texas, TX. 4x4 cummins powered class c motor home model 23r with folding leveling jacks, power awning, 3500 watt inverter, 4K Onan gas generator with 18 gal separate tank, kingdome dtv satellite dish.  V10 went out at approx 15k miles. At that time a 1992 5.9 cummins Diesel engine was put in with help from diesel conversion specialist.  The motor was treated to rebuilt pump and injectors along with a custom hybrid hx35/40 turbo and custom inter cooler.  The 5r110 original transmission was retained, but treated to a diesel low stall converter.  Kroger mfg in California did the 4wd conversion when coach was brand new.  Kroger used 2005 Dana 60front differential with limited slip carrier.  The rear was treated to a limited slip locker a well.  The transfer case is a manual shift. The transmission is controlled by diesel conversion specialist custom programmable controller.  Since the install we have put approx 5k miles on the coach. We just don’t use it enough. The performance is way better than the original v10 with twice the power and twice the mileage.  It now averages 16-18mpg with a car in tow.
