2008 Used Forest River GEORGETOWN 350TS Class A in California, CA. $20,000+ of modifications, ideal for extended family road trips. Incl car, all items, ultimate Step-In Drive-Off! Vehicles looked after meticulously. Bought our rig and fitted it out for comfort, no problems during our 24,000 mile trip.
Rig Modifications – five star tune (87 tow) engine upgrade for increased horsepower, torque & mileage. Bank ram air induction intake. Suspension upgrades incl Roadmaster Heavy Duty sway bars (front/rear) to remove body roll, new Bilstein comfitrack shock absorbers, Blue Ox Safety Track Rear Stabiliser. Firestone Ride Rite front airbags for additional stability/comfort. Garman GPS, side/rear cameras, Double EZ tire monitoring system for RV & car. Engine bay sound insulation. Auto awnings. RV batteries are limited (a few lights for a few hours), we fixed the issue with 500 amp hour lithium battery pack, new (expensive) technology, runs power needs for 3 days. Installed Magnum 2000 watt hybrid invertor to power electrics. Gas grill piped directly to RV (so no need for gas bottle).
Maintenance - excellent care taken, no leaks, oil changes every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. Full Ford service @ 41,000 miles, incl bearing repack. New tires installed 4 months ago, aligned & balanced every 10,000 miles.
Tow Rig / Bike Rack - PT Cruiser, with Roadmaster Falcon Non-binding tow system installed (worth approx $1,000). Includes bike rack for four bikes.
Climate control – Heating/Air cons, plug in heater (save propane when plugged to electricity). Humidifier/air filter incl. 2 remote control Maxx Air 5100 ceiling extractor fans with built in thermometer which auto switch on.
Entertainment - flat screen TV & hard drive of entertainment (adult & child). Antennae (local programs) & cable hook up. DV player, upgradesound system. Wifi boost 4G range extender for greater cell phone/internet coverage.
Trike Scooter - Camping World ZoomE 3. Fits in back of PT Cruiser, up to 15 mph, Dad went on hikes, bicycle trips and museum travels despite bad hip.
Kitchen Equipment & Linens - full kitchen inclall pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, hot water kettle, silverware, knives, cutting boards, utensils, etc. Master bed sheets neutral, kids bunks are Star Wards. All pillows/towels/rugs included.
Outdoor Grilling & Entertainment - outdoor floor mat to avoid tracking dirt inside and maximise outside space. Cabela’s grill sits waist height with grill & griddle function, plus burners. 4 foldable chairs, foldable work table.
Furniture –new captain chairs with memory foam comfort for driver and passenger, both heat & vibration functions. Pull out sofa and the dining seats just redone with ultra leather, dining seats foam replaced to maximise comfort. Master queen has Sleep Number mattress, with both sides remote controlled independently air adjusted, topped with three memory foam mattresses for max comfort.
