2008 Used Winnebago CHALET 31CR Class C in Georgia, GA. Get Outside! Or stay inside if it is raining :-)Â
This is a clean, well-maintained motorhome. Even though it may be a little older than some of the RVs on this site, it looks and operates like a much newer RV. I might get some hate mail, but I will be bold and say that Winnebago is one of the best RV builders on the market, and their RVs hold up much better than most others, meaning it looks better than some units half its age. I keep it clean and well maintained, including storage in an indoor climate controlled storage facility.
It has a slide out and lots of storage. It comes with all necessary kitchen supplies including a coffee maker.
It sleeps 4 adults and two kids. There is a queen bed in a rear bedroom, a loft bed over the cab that is about the size of a queen (80"L x 57"W), the sofa bed (67"L x 38"W), and the dinette (67"LX40"W).Â
It drives really well. I put a larger sway bar on it, and now it drives just like a BMW 1 series - or close. It has an awning that will let you get outside if it is raining (see the first sentence above).
Built on a Ford E450 chassis with the big Ford 6.8L Super-Duty V10 SOHC Triton engine, 305 HP, TorqShift, 5-speed w/tow haul auto trans, 4-wheel ABS, dual air bags, trailer hitch with 5,000-lb. drawbar/350 lbs max tongue weight, trailer wiring w/7-pin connector and electric brake. TIRES ARE 1 YEAR OLD.
Features include 13" flat screen TV with built-in DVD, galley with overhead microwave, range hood, 3-burner propane range/oven, refrigerator/freezer, shower, bathroom with lav and toilet, 42-gal fresh water tank with pump, 41-gal gray water and 41-gal black water tanks, 13,500 BTU ceiling ducted AC, 30,000 BTU propane furnace, deep-cycle house battery (1 year old), 4,000 W Cummins Onan Microquiet gas generator (on-board), 6-gal propane water heater with electronic ignition.
Comes with transferable XtraRide Platinum extended service contract with $100 deductible good until February 25, 2021.
