2009 Used Heartland BIGHORN 3580RL Fifth Wheel in Texas, TX. ***Combo-Dually and 5th Wheel*** 2006 Chevy 3500 Silverado LT Dually 90K miles, 2009 Heartland 3580RL Bighorn 5th Wheel Not your average 5th wheel. We totally renovated the inside of the RV (see pictures) and converted the upstairs bedroom into a kids room (can easily be converted back). We added a 44” bathtub and low VOC vinyl plank flooring. The dining room slide floor is new (less than a year), the Apollo ½ time oven is new, the washer and dryer are new (less than a year). A new HD over-the-air TV antenna replaced the old batwing antenna. A new slide out hydraulic pump was installed in June 2017. The steps leading into the RV were replaced in Feb 2016. We just had both grey tanks and black tank professionally power washed and sanitized. Every appliance in RV is functional and maintained.Truck has brand new tires and new leather on lower seats. Oil change is relatively recent. 87% on gauge. New fuel filter. Truck has Allison engine, 4x4, and towing package. Truck/trailer also have electric brakes installed.We currently live in this RV full-time, and lived in it from JUN 2016-MAR 2017 as well. It has held up well and no major problems have arisen. We are NOT willing to sell separately, as we purchased them as a unit as well. This is a solid RV, and there are small things wrong with it, ie. Decals starting to peel, awning is probably on its last season, 2 at max., Propane tanks are 10 years old and will have to be recertified in 2 years, We removed the back ladder due to a design flaw with Heartland, but brackets remain in place. Previous owner hit some pine trees and damaged roof, but it has been professionally repaired and no leaks are evident. (Just had roof reconditioned by CW and additional sealer was applied.)
