2010 Winnebago Era 170XL. 112K miles. Runs well. Great Mercedes Sprinter engine. 3.0 turbo diesel.
Has had maintenance done thru Arbogast RV and Snoops truck center in Ohio when we bought it and more recent by R and R RV in Liberty lake. I cleaned EGR valve myself. Had a new propane ignition control module installed for three way Dometic fridge last week and works well. Generator just serviced and oil levels and air filter checked, new and looks good. Generator starts every time in a few seconds. Macerator and grey/black tanks cleaned and treated. Just drained all fresh water tanks/ water heater and can flush, sanitize and fill if anyone wants to see the water system operate. 17-20 Mpg. With us and gear typically got 17.5-19mpg driving 70-75mph highway. 20+ mpg at 60mph. These Mercedes engines are very efficient. Seats 7 with seat belts. 4 captain chairs and a bench. Two side benches but not belted. Propane run furnace heats the coach. Mercedes engine heater works well. AC off engine is strong and cold. Rear 120volt roof top AC(heat pump hot or cold) for pluggin in or when running generator.
Has Pioneer DVD/CD/XM/Bluetooth radio up front that plays thru six speakers in Mercedes front seating area. Rear entertainment package with DVD/CD/Bluetooth/AUX/USB and flat screen TV. TV can be hooked up to cable or Ant on top of van. Works while driving. Installed an Invertor in back of Van directly off coach battery that has two 110Volt plug ins and a USB drive charging plug in.
Full Galley with 3 way Dometic fridge, kitchen sink, bath sink and two burner propane range. Thetford toilet kick pedal flush and accessory sprayer. Propane run Suburban 6 gallon instant hot water heater: goes to both sinks shower and outside shower. Outside shower is the best part of these for rinse off in hot water and or washing self, bike gear shoes or whole RV for that matter. Large propane tank that runs hot water heater and furnace. New coach battery to stay out off the grid. Convection Microwave, these are super nice for heating food or cooking. Rear air conditioning and an Onan 2500 lp generator(runs off propane). Propane stove with two burners. New tires and rims this past spring. All season continental LT tires. I also took off the sprinter headliner and insulated this with 2" foam board double insulated back and foam spray. Sound deadening and much warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Works great.
