Description

2014 Used Livin' Lite CAMPLITE 16DBS Travel Trailer in Oregon, OR. I’m one of those guys who tend to over improve things. This CampLite is tweaked to make it the ultimate back country vehicle.   Only used this past season (original owners before us used it just a handful of times), it’s traveled maybe 4,000 miles. It’s hard to beat for its ability to go ANYWHERE! New to CampLites? With all-aluminum frame and chassis, they are impervious to moisture vs their typical wood framed & steel chassis cousins--a huge plus. This one has “locker” style non-wood cabinets throughout, keeping things in place on rough roads.  The construction is closer to an Airstream than a typical trailer. But wait--airstreams have wooden floors and low ground clearance and no slideout!  We chose this over a 16’ Airstream because of its boondocking potential and interior room.  We’ve always stored it under cover.

OTHER KEY FEATURES of the DBS:
-Stock weight 3,000 lbs. Light!
-Hitch weight 230 lbs (upgrades increased this)
-Great water capacity: Fresh 38, Gray 32, Black 28
-Dual axle and excellent ground clearance for the back roads
-Locking cabinets
-Computer compatible TV UPGRADES

--THIS CampLite!
-Sea Level tank monitoring system
-Bathroom sink
-Oxygenics shower head
-Electric jack
-Expanded battery box with dual 220A deep cycle wet cell batteries
-2 new propane tanks with gauges
-Garmin BC30 wireless backup camera (GPS, receiver not included)
-TV powered from DC (inverter not needed)
-USB charging jacks EVERYWHERE
-Upgraded LED lights
-Collapsible ladder
-Flexible shelf system, hooks galore
-Interlocking foam flooring tile (or included custom carpet or go with the indestructible aluminum floor)
-Brand new trailer cover
-Wired for cell booster (available below)
-Wired for inverter (available below)
-EasyStart upgrade to air conditioner, making it possible, with the fancy inverter (below), to run the AC on a small Honda generator when dry camping.

OPTIONAL UPGRADES for extra cost all less than 9 months old:

-INVERTER and BATTERY MONITOR--$2,300 (below just the parts cost of the system, let alone hours of installation)The trailer is equipped with the MagnaSine MSH3012 state of the art Hybrid 3,000 watt pure sine inverter. This transformative gizmo allows you to run the air conditioner on a small 2,000 watt Honda generator!  This is a big deal!  Running with the small generator, the inverter mixes energy from the batteries when the load exceeds what the Honda can supply, allowing you to use induction cooktops, toasters, teapots, computers, AC, etc.  Its spiffy remote panel and integrated battery monitor allows you to really control how much power is drawn from each source and what’s going on.  It’s completely solar ready (that was our next step).

-CELL BOOSTER $300  Wilson Drive 4G/M can pull in cell signals in some of the most remote places.
