2015 Used Winnebago VIA 25P Class A in California, CA. Immaculate 2015 Winnebago Via 25P. In our exhaustive search, the Via was by far the best blend of mobility and functionality/comfort we found. Built on a Mercedes diesel sprinter chassis this coach sipped gas, and drove like a dream (the wife begged to drive her) in town and on the highway (easily kept up with traffic regardless of the grade). Small enough (25.5ft in length), there wasn’t a parking lot we didn’t feel comfortable entering (including starbucks), as the rig can easily park in a standard space (width wise, needs about a space and a half in length). It’s worth noting the captains chairs sit up high and the windshield is expansive (like a class A), so the views can be completely enjoyed while driving (this was one of the deciding factors for us). Though small in stature, the rig lacked nothing in amenities, and was the most contemporary finished unit we came across (as comfort and style were important to us). Step in the coach, turn the beautiful ultraleather captain chairs around to join the banquet (finished w/ the same ultraleather) to create a conversation area or to watch the game, tv or a movie w/ friends on the 32” flat screen. The P’s floor plan is by far the most open and spacious the Via (or any other unit in it’s class) has to offer. This additional space also translates into the largest galley (and counter space) of the Via units. Complete w/ microwave/convection oven, two burner range top (w/ glass cover), Norcold double door fridge/freezer, deep stainless steel sink (w/glass cover and folding faucet), water filter, decorative backsplash, beautiful curved (glossy) cabinets and coordinated laminate counter tops. Step into the full bath and you have all the comfort of home. Full shower (plenty of room for me at 6’ 225lbs.) w/ retractable self-cleaning shower screen, stainless steel sink, toilet and plenty of storage. The bedroom turned out to be one of our favorite areas. Some of the most restful nights we have had, have been in that bedroom. The mattress is extremely comfortable, there was plenty of room for the two of us, and the flat screen made it a perfect spot for us to unwind in the evening after the days adventures. I would add that there is tons of storage for the size of this coach. We didn’t come close to filling the interior (or exterior for that matter) storage. The armoire was a nice convenience as there was lots of hanging space and drawers made for easy organizing.If Boondocking is your thing, you are all set. The fresh water tank size is ample. You can run all your electronics, LED lights throughout (including on the exterior awning) and appliances off the generator, LP or D/C power with the 1,000 watt inverter. Could go without hook-ups 5-7 days pretty easily. There really isn’t a negative thing we could say about this rig. We are sad to have to move on, but need to find something that can accommodate our growing family.
