Description

2016 Used Forest River R-POD 172 Travel Trailer in Texas, TX. At just over 2300 pounds and 18 feet long, you can tow this R-Pod with nearly anything, even a mini-van! It pulls like a dream and sleeps 4! It has a set of over-sized (nearly full-size) bunk beds as well as a dinette that easily converts to a queen-sized bed. For its small size, it has everything you want in a RV inside and out. Inside, there's a convention oven and microwave, Dometic 13,500 AC, heater, Fantastic Fan, 3 way refrigerator, flat screen TV, DVD player, radio with CD player and bluetooth, 2 burner propane stove,  under-bed storage and storage under the dinette. Outside, there's a pass-through with plenty of room for lawnchairs, a small grill, hoses, and more. There's also speakers, a outdoor shower, solar panel connection, black tank flush, and more! We made some modifications to make the R-Pod 172 even better-- we made a over stove cover to add additional counter space. We added a piano hinge to the under dinette storage to make it easier to access. We also added shelving along the kitchen wall for additional storage. We will also include a Thule bike rack that attaches to the back of the R-Pod easily.

The way the R-Pod is designed, it is great for camping with full hook-ups OR for dry camping. Because of the LED lights and energy efficiency, it can easily go for 3-4 days without recharging the battery. The propane tank can run the refrigerator and hot water heater. The tanks are also quite large for the size of the camper too-- 35 black, grey, and fresh.

We have loved our R-Pod and cared for it well. We have used it for our family of 4-- 2 adults and 2 kiddos. We actually rarely converted the dinette, and us parents shared one of the bunks and the kids shared the other. Yes, the R-Pod isn't huge, but that's what we loved. It was a great space for a family who loves the great outdoors. We live in an urban area and don't want to have to store it any longer so we are parting with it. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.Â
