Description

2017 Used Forest River ROCKWOOD ULTRA LITE 2906WS Travel Trailer in Oregon, OR. This is a better than new, loaded, half ton towable, 2017 Rockwood 2906WS with about $3500 in extras.

This is priced to sell ASAP. We basically drove to Shipshewana IN, bought it there, drove it home, upgraded the tires to Maxxis 8008's, upgraded some other things and are now selling it so that we can buy a fifth wheel. This was meant to be our "test" RV to see if our family liked the RV'ing lifestyle. We loved it so much that we are likely going to full-time in a RV.  We love this Rockwood and would keep it except that we just discovered that we are having a third boy (4th child) and would like something larger! So I guess that our loss is your gain!

In Oregon a 2906WS sells for about $35,000 so you're immediately getting a great deal with this. I also added a new $2500 ProPride weight distributing hitch. I didn't want a hint of trailer sway so I went with the Cadillac of all weight distributing hitches. I'm hoping it helps sell the trailer faster by including it for free. You can read hundreds of glowing reviews online about this hitch and from my experiences, I wouldn't tow without one. I can pass semi trucks on the freeway with one hand on the steering wheel and one hand on my coffee cup. It's a night and day difference between a ProPride and any of the other sub-par $500 WD hitches on the market. You can back up with this hitch unlike some others, and hitching and unhitching is a breeze. You also don't get greasy like you do with some other hitches. I also added a $150 memory foam pad, an oxygenics shower head (a must have for any RV) and the absolute best 15" tires on the market, the Maxxis 8008s. I bought 5 of them (one for the spare). I've also done about half a dozen other mods and upgrades.

When we were looking for a travel trailer I spent hundreds of hours researching what I felt was the best quality travel trailer on the market and I kept coming back to Rockwood. I have spreadsheets of over 40 brands and really feel like Rockwood are THE BEST travel trailers. I'll include a YouTube Video link to the twin of our 2906WS. These are FULLY laminated using only vacuum bonded laminate, not inferior pinch rolling. You don't even get full vacuum bonding in a lot of high end "luxury" fifth wheels. There is no "step up" from a Rockwood. This is the best.

These are some notable upgrades that I ordered from the factory:
Stainless Steel Appliances
Power Tongue Jack
4 Power Stabilizer Jacks
Optional 2nd year factory warranty
Thermo Pane Windows
Heated Holding Tanks
15,000 btu Ducted Roof AC
2nd Roof AC with Heat and 50 Amp Service
Slide Toppers on each slide
2 Awnings
Day/Night Shades
Aluminum Wheels
Emerald Edition (comes with extras like solid surface counters)
Fireplace (great as a space heater)
Extra Maxxair fan in the living room

I'm out of characters, email for more info/photos! (also selling my F150)
