2017 Used Jayco PINNACLE 36FBTS Fifth Wheel in South Dakota, SD. Up for sale is a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle 36 FBTS. My wife and I purchased this unit brand new in July 2016 and full-timed in it for 18 months. We travelled primarily in the Dakotas and in the south and southwest regions of the country, putting a little over 5000 miles of tow time on it.
Our primary mission for the full-time adventure was to identify that perfect retirement spot and eventually get back into a sticks-and-bricks home. Well that time has come as we have found that spot and are now selling this beautiful 5th wheel coach.
This particular unit is a bath and a half model which we have found to make life much more enjoyable when living in a 400 sq.ft home-on-wheels.
We feel the unit is in a better-than new-condition as we have lived through and had all of the “bugs†worked out and resolved by professional RV repair techs. As anyone who has purchased a brand new RV will tell you they all have issues when new so having these issues worked out is big deal, and Jayco has stood by their product. We haven’t had a single claim denied and they went above and beyond providing service when needed.
This coach has four (4) months remaining on its twenty-four (24) month warranty. We recently had it at the dealership to have a thorough inspection and winterization completed. Some of the items that were replaced are: Both motorized awnings, new never-slept-in king pillow-top mattress, new picture window.
Some of the more notable features this coach has are:Dual-pane windows, dual 15,000 btu A/C’s, Sanicon sewage macerator pump, residential fridge, slide-out toppers, generator prep, Goodyear G-514 tires G rated tires (We purchased these separately), washer/dryer combo, and for this model year Jayco upgraded the frame from a 10†(2016 and previous years) to a 12†significantly increasing rigidity to the unit.
We pulled this coach with a RAM 3500 crew cab, short box, SRW, using a Pullrite Superglide sliding hitch. Pulled like a dream with not a single clearance issue or otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this coach and are confident that the next owners will have a wonderful experience as well.
