Description

2018 Used Heartland BIGHORN 3270RS Fifth Wheel in Oklahoma, OK. This is a practically brand new fully loaded Bighorn. I purchased it a few months ago. My job situation has changed and now I am selling both the RV and the F350 I purchased to tow it with. Options: slideout awning toppers, metal wrapped main awning upgrade, black metal wrapped power dinette awning, MorRyde hitch, Power Cord Reel, White Sidewalls (looks amazing!!! compared to the tan sidewalls most units have), residential refrigerator, deluxe coffered ceiling, king size bed, Dual Pane Windows!!!! I was especially excited about the 2018's because Heartland upgraded the stoves (cast iron separate from the over), oven (larger and separate from stove), dinette (no longer has a pedestal leg under it), added a hang down light above dinette and aluminum 4 step entry.

Once I received the RV I then added a 32" Vizio 1080p HDTV with blu-ray player in the bedroom (the Chinese one from the factory was garbage and only 720p), blu-ray player added to den TV (the Jensen OEM unit is only DVD), plastic low profile bathroom faucet replaced with brush nickel high profile single lever rotating faucet, Progressive Dynamics 50 amp surge protector, Teflon hitch plate, wireless backup camera with cab display, tire pressure monitor with signal booster, brushed nickel coat racks (3), toothbrush holder and toilet paper holders, (2) digital indoor/outdoor thermometers were added (one in the den and one in the bedroom), shelf liner has been added to all cabinets and drawers (yes that took about 6 hrs), both the main bed and the spare bed (couch) received brand new memory foam mattress upgrades, mattress encasements, Rear Receiver Hitch and 4 pin wiring harness was added (the plan was to get a golf cart and take with us to different locations and I also wanted a place for bike rack). (4) 415 amp-hr Full River AMG golf cart batteries (Yes, that's $2000 in batteries, but should last the life of the RV). This gives you about 8 times the battery capacity over the stock marine/rv battery plus they don't have to be watered and can handle a higher charge rate. I then added a 115 amp multistage charger which charges the batteries twice as fast as the single stage OEM charger (OEM charger is still available as a backup) and is optimized for AGM batteries, a 4000 watt pure sine wave inverter, remote panel for inverter and a 50 amp transfer switch. This inverter powers the entire RV as soon as power is disconnected from shore power. Even an air conditioner can be powered from this inverter and batteries. A Clipper BM-2 battery monitor was installed to show the status of the batteries (voltage, amps being charged/discharged, amp-hrs discharged and time left on the batteries). It is really nice to see what's going on there from inside the RV. Micro-air EasyStart soft starter added to both ACs. Propane tanks were upgraded from dual 30# tanks to dual 40# tanks. A Propane quick connect adapter was added to the awning side for easy grilling.
